20 Years of R&D: Full-Stack Private Networks

Two decades of repeaters, combiners and passive components: 13 patents, 11 software copyrights. Customers now ask not about signal, but about maintenance.

Kingtone Solutions Co., Ltd. was founded in 2026's twentieth year of operation, building wireless radio and private-network coverage equipment. What began as a single product line — RF repeaters and combiners — has grown into six capability areas that today run as one system.

The six capability areas

  • Narrowband radio infrastructure — digital and analogue repeaters (RS3100 portable same-frequency, RS3500 for mines and tunnels)
  • Signal coverage — fibre-based BDA, ICS and all-optical distribution for in-building and tunnel coverage
  • Passive RF components — signal extractors, duplexers, combiners, including the Pro+ series with remote monitoring
  • Network management and dispatch — S200 NMS and S300 dispatch console
  • Broadband private networks — EPC/5GC core and IMS, supporting LTE/5G private network deployments
  • Terminals — handheld and vehicle-mounted radios

What the engineering record actually shows

These are verifiable numbers, not marketing claims:

  • 13 utility-model patents covering RF, structural, fibre and remote-monitoring designs — including dual-band and multi-band fibre repeaters, a humidity-resistant and thermally managed 350M fibre repeater, a cross-frequency duplexer, and a communication repeater with remote working-state monitoring
  • 11 software copyrights in network management, device monitoring and protocol conversion
  • SRRC type approvals for multiple radio transmitters (China radio emission equipment certification)
  • ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 27001 certification, plus National High-Tech Enterprise status

Why we publish the model numbers

Two decades in this industry is long enough to have seen plenty of vendors claim coverage they cannot deliver. That is why every solution page on this site names specific model numbers, frequency bands and latency figures — and why our technical articles explain what a product cannot do as well as what it can. If a deployment needs a capability we do not have, we would rather say so at the enquiry stage than after the site is built.

What we are building now

Three areas we are investing in, on a three-year horizon:

  • Full integration of Pro+ passive components into the S200 network management platform
  • Deployment of the SOL900 converged wideband/narrowband architecture in emergency command, event and campus projects
  • Expanding the KINGTONE export site so overseas integrators can reach the same technical documentation and selection guidance as domestic customers
